I feel myself relating to the Characters sometimes, their expressions at their most joyous, most focused and most neurotic and dismissive, its written well so I can see where (most of them) are coming from how the world shaped them.

The writing is clever, with careful attention to the intersection of identity, politics, and personality, the sense of atmosphere (aided by an excellent soundtrack) is extremely evocative, and the worldbuilding in particular was brilliantly exposited.
