Dotemu’s modern re-release enhances accessibility while preserving the game's retro soul, making it a must-have for fans of classic co-op action games.
Originally released in 1997 for the Neo Geo MVS and later revived on Steam, the game stands as one of the best examples of the run-and-gun formula done with speed, flair, and replayability in mind.
Complementing this is an energetic soundtrack filled with electric guitar riffs and fast-paced percussion that perfectly matches the rhythm of battle.
The player is not limited to linear paths or fixed directions; you can move in eight directions, roll to evade enemy fire, and unleash powerful special weapons when situations get dire.
A great level of difficulty balance with a brilliant control scheme, multiple paths through the game for replayibility, and one of the most amazing jungle/drum 'n bass soundtracks I've ever heard in a video game.
The graphics are amazingly done in glorious retro style pixel art... and it would make you quite intrigued to know that most objects in the level are entirely destructible.
