What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
It is bigger, more open, much more focused on melee combat, and absolutely loves making you figure things out yourself.
Zone 4: Still an urban area, but a great central mechanic makes it much more fun.
The story itself is great - it's much more easire to get into than Alan Wake (especially second game), but still has enough rabbit holes to dive into.
I played at 1440p on the highest settings without ray tracing and had basically no problems.
Performance wise, the gameplay for me was smooth with no distinguishable stutters as many claim in the forums, easily reaching 120 fps with frame gen on.
I think this adds to the difficulty, intrigue, replayability, and progression really nicely.
