It's a nice balancing act that gives some RPG elements to the gameplay.
The sense of forward momentum keeps the game engaging over the long term, and because the difficulty scales gradually, the learning curve remains satisfying without becoming punishing.
The remastered version refines the presentation and performance of the original, offering smoother animations, higher-resolution visuals, and a more responsive interface.
Along with a huge selection of weapons to choose from as you unlock more from either progressing in the story mode, completing quests and challenges.
Fortunately, even though some of the sound effects for enemy actions are dire sounding, none were grating or unpleasant, especially by contrast.
Only gripe is that some of the descriptions are a bit vague though the help menu was nice and user friendly.
