What players think
The recurring themes across 170 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
This is an amazing game with a very unique art style and entertaining characters and dialog.
One area I thought the game might fall down on when I heard it was an Adventure Game Studio (AGS) game, was graphics, as indie projects can't usually match the quality of their ideas with their writing and production quality.
With the sound, we have the fully-voiced, or I should say, fully-growled, dialogue that's a demonic-sounding version of English matching the deranged and murderous characters perfectly, with an amusingly contrasting jolly folk guitar soundtrack by Pitx.
The gameplay itself is also amazing, especially first chapter, there was genuinely barely if any slowdowns due to confusing solutions, although be warned you may get stuck because you didnt use action button on something, almost every time I had an urge to check out spoilers was because I forgot to press action on something, so another good thing about the game is that it didnt inherit Sierra's puzzle logic, most solutions makes sense and even if u look it up you'll probably curse yourself for not realising it.
The right mouse button and the drop-down menu on the score bar work just as well, but some Number Key quick-buttons would be kind of cool.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
