On release it was good, you could play without any gameplay issues, no stuttering or otherwise, had a decent skill tree if a bit tedious to gain the resources (red dust) to unlock the skills and a good crafting system.

The first thing that stood out to me was the beautiful, smooth, cartoony graphics.

As a side-note, it plays absolutely beautifully on PC and I've been enjoying it at a very fluid 60fps on the Steam Deck, although the fans do kick in a fair bit when in menus.

After weather update fps during the run tanked from 50+ to 15-19 while in menu it stays stable as before.

The visuals are rad, the soundtrack makes you feel right at home with its clear homages to DOOM, and the enemy count is as satisfying as any other bullet heaven as you cleave through armies of demons and ghouls by the thousands.
