There was combat at night with not so difficult enemies, books that you could repair, co-op gameplay with proximity chat, a different Abby theme with some funny dialogue and concepts, and just genuinely felt like it came from the heart.
Fun little game for less money than a Big Mac costs, and you get a simple, relaxing, goofy little gameplay loop to play with your friends.
Getting to choose your difficulty by limiting books or monsters is great but that still doesnt help with the run around time.

Overall, I'd recommend the game, it's great as a game to play with friends but also works quite well as a solo experience, which many games that advertise their multiplayer offerings often struggle with.
