What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Originally introduced during the golden age of arcades, DIG DUG remains a reminder of a period when memorable gameplay mechanics mattered more than cinematic storytelling, complex progression systems, or endless unlockable content.
Considering the amount I've spent in arcades over decades, $4 was a bargain for this game BUT younger players who are not into the pixel graphics probably won't find much here for a WOW factor.
In the sound section you can adjust the games audio Sound Quality, Reverb Length, Reverb Depth, Attract Sound, and preform a Sound Test.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 4 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
