What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
This is unfortunate, as this game showed so much promise with all the interesting mechanics.
So many strategies to employ, so many customizations, so many features to add or subtract to difficulty, and on and on.
The Low price for the game along with the high replayability makes it very easy to recommend for anyone who enjoys strategy games, especially if you can get someone to play with as the game supports up to 8 players Co-op.
The Collection of the Whole series will leave you with so much story, so many options, so much coolness to use, that -- honestly if you use and understand those all in less than a decade, you clearly don't have to work for a living.
Another notable aspect of AI War: Fleet Command is its strong emphasis on cooperative multiplayer.
The soundtrack features atmospheric electronic and orchestral themes that reinforce the feeling of operating a hidden resistance within hostile territory.
