The ambience is pleasant, the sound design addictive, the difficulty scale well-balanced at the lower end.
But yeah, I like the mechanics for the puzzles and they are pretty.
But compared to the prequel, the improved graphics, BGM, and streamlined design that cuts out unnecessary elements make it much easier to immerse yourself in the puzzles
The soundtrack is minimalist — the kind of soothing music you can leave on in the background for hours without it ever getting in the way of your thinking.
I find myself playing this a lot when listening to an audiobook or having a podcast on in the background at my desktop, and it was especially nice on my Steam Deck during a period of illness where my brain still craved some sort of low-level stimulation while I was stuck in bed.
