I won't say it's pay to win, but I was urged to buy "drinks" (which give you temporary boosts) which are consumables .. but at the price they charge .. yah .. you wont ever want to grind for them.
There are a few wonky things, like navigating the menus requires mouse and keyboard, but gameplay seems to be best on a gamepad (how I played it anyways).
Btw, the soundtrack is amazing.
