Your characters get fatigued so you will run multiple parties kinda like Darkest Dungeon, and just like that game its fun in practice because you get to try other characters and builds.
Happy with the balance, gold gets a bit too easy, weapons and gear is limited but balanced.
It's really strong in creating that old-school fantasy feeling, with simple charming artwork, surprisingly compelling writing and an excellent soundtrack that just won't leave my head.
It's got the aesthetic of your typical fantasy TTRPG; in fact the art style reminds me heavily of the very first TES game, Arena.
The difficulty level is high at first, with gold being scarce, but it gets quite a bit easier as you progress in the game and your initial characters level up.
