What players think
The recurring themes across 230 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The characters are all drawn beautifully, but the same cannot be said with a lot of the locations; they seemed “average” compared to the rest of the art work.
Its CGs and soundtrack are also up to Key's usual memorable and effective par, and all in all, I'd say that Key are definitely on form with this kinetic novel.
With its graceful writing, haunting visuals, and emotional authenticity, it captures the essence of Key’s storytelling tradition in a concentrated form.
To be honest, this wasn't an issue as I could choose a new font with ease and it had no effect on the gameplay - I could start the game straight after choosing with no issue.
