Abiotic Factor

The combat is fine, but the most enjoyable aspect of the game for me was exploring the facility and different world, the latter of which I do hope the developers plan to add more of in future updates.

But, with that said, I think the best part of this game's story by far are the mostly novel elements.

And not all all this works perfectly good a solo experience, but it has full co-op ONTOP of it.

It hearkens back to games like Half-Life, System Shock, and Deus Ex in its level design, environmental storytelling, and willingness to let the player explore and figure things out, while its (somewhat) modern graphics and optimization still retain some of the visual character of that older era.

Personally I liked the difficulty spike because the game started to feel repetitive, but it seems some people prefer a more easy-going adventure.

i mentioned the character customisation before, but when combined with the base building, multiplayer, and equipment variety, there's a ton of replayability here, and i'm fully intending on doing more playthroughs with friends.
