Instead, it celebrates what made Duke Nukem 3D iconic: fast gameplay, big explosions, and unapologetic attitude.
New players will find a solid run and gun FPS with a gritty atmosphere, an interesting set of weapons and unfortunately some bulletspongey bosses (one of the few flaws of the original game).
This is good since even on normal difficulty enemies can shred you up pretty quickly.
They are very fun on their own right, especially coop because its such a rare feature for old school first person shooter.
