What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Don't expect a lot out of the game mechanics or puzzles, but enjoy the story and atmosphere.
But if you want something more deliberately paced and that builds a quiet horror by giving you nasty little things to think about and puzzle over, which is much more my speed, then I think you'll find this a treat.
Despite using the same pixelated graphics, it was done in a lot of frames and flows smoothly, showing scenes that simulate as if the camera was rotated.
(They mixed up some Bach classical music with 8-bit theme very pleasant, (I even downloaded the OST for my self :3))
Mad respect to the game's built in difficulty; exploration is immensely vital but if you're not wary you could be inviting death; be it an additional patrolling enemy, get more hurt or miss out on/do something you'll regret too.
You’re likely to find more and more things to fill your inventory with and use in case of need: I was rewarded with something every single time I chose to explore around the area I was in rather than just following along the path, which felt great.
