TL;DR: a solid time trial game that looks nice, and has simple mechanics but also some variety of gameplay.
Although the environments are relatively simple, the changing lighting helps keep the scenery visually engaging.
And there is an easy mode you can toggle on and off (being on easy mode removes the ability to earn achievements.) - Super Night Riders also has a pretty nice soundtrack of gutteral guitars and anime vibes.
The presence of SteamOS/Linux support is encouraging, but it should not be treated as equivalent to an official Steam Deck compatibility badge.
