What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The core gameplay loop is fantastic and very enjoyable, and each run feels different (it IS a roguelite).
Very definition of co-op where everyone has a role and it shows!
This combination gives the game an entertaining rhythm that constantly shifts between exploration, planning, and frantic combat.
The difficulty curve so far seems good, so that you actually feel like you are progressing each run and not just breezing through the game.
Multiple caves, different enemies, character progression, and longer-term unlocks provide additional reasons to continue playing beyond a single successful defense.
Single player in the current state I suspect is pretty bad, but coordinating with a team in multiplayer is a lot of fun.
