What players think

The game features three modes: campaign (with excellent voiceovers), daily cook-off (with a leaderboard), and challenges you can complete with different characters.
This game is definitely the first of its kind that I've played - it combines the mechanics behind 2d combat games (like Tekken or Street Fighter), match-three games (like Candy Crush and Bejeweled), and time-based cooking (like Overcooked and Cooking Fever), and distills them into an all-around fun and light gaming experience.
TL;DR: BCB is a fun combat-slash-puzzle game with a cute plot, a charming protagonist, and a hearty sprinkling of Iron Chef references (Vive la Brigade!), albeit a bit short.
The characters do pop from the background, and do have a hint of slight difference in art style, but they are wonderfully unique.
The soundtrack fits perfectly with the environment and it’s a joy to follow Mina through the very beginning of the story.
Its 10 hours long for the story (more or less), worth every sec, very fun, difficulty is nice as well.
