What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
And last but not least at all; the New Classic soundtrack brings it all together, truly making it feel like a celebration of the game's age.
Gameplay wise, in New Classic we're treated to having focus show your hitbox now which takes a moment to get used to, and for purists you can always play the original which comes bundled for free.
Challenge mode I feel was originally advertised as a way to get new people to try the game on any difficulty, and it can be seen that way; but when you get in game you realize its also a whole new mode in terms of scoring which is awesome.
But it is more fun because you can play in wide resolutions without hurting your eyes, with sharp and distinguished graphics of projectiles.
Finally it is possible to play the game without thinking about stretching, alt-tab crashing and 99999 FPS.
I also hear it works well on Linux, and I'm sure there wouldn't be any problems running this game on Android either.
