What players think
The recurring themes across 33 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
For starters, the game is overall more fine tuned for balance in difficulty and the ship choices than Zenohell imo.
Experimenting with different builds becomes a rewarding part of the experience, especially for players interested in mastering multiple playstyles.
Every aspect of the experience, from the pixel-art visuals to the aggressive pacing and synthesizer-heavy soundtrack, feels designed specifically for players who appreciate the intensity and challenge of traditional arcade shooters.
As many people pointed out with Zenohell that it's soundtrack was nice, the soundtrack for Zenodyne R is once again fantastic.
