I will say that after the tutorial section and level up to get a class, it gets a bit more comfortable, even more so when you find a weapon that suits your playstyle.
The setting is a pleasant change of pace compared to most other Diablo-likes on the market that are just dark and brooding, Titan Quest flips the script with bright and gorgeous scenery that still holds up to this day, with a lot of diverse biomes and regions, along with a lot of enemy diversity throughout the Acts that keeps the game feeling fresh.
The extensive character customization and variety of classes allow for deep strategic play, while the smooth combat mechanics keep you hooked for hours.
The Anniversary Edition has breathed new life into this classic with improved graphics and native modern resolution support.
As a coop experience, I remember enjoying it even with strangers, but for some reason it just never clicked enough to make me want to beat it.
The soundtrack deserves a special mention: epic, evocative, and perfectly suited to the mythological setting.
