What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The newly added features, such as peak performance, different way of starting career mode where it feels like a real story, and the upgraded visuals are simple amazing.
There's a lot of extra stuff that I'd like to see improved on (Damage model, better replay mode, crash physics, CPU crashes in general) but the core gameplay is still an extremely fun NASCAR racing experience and I've been enjoying it greatly.
The driving is really easy to get used too - i drive with both a wheel + pedals setup and with a controller, just depending on what rig I'm gaming on and where - Both feel well refined, obviously the wheel is tons more fun, but a controller works perfectly fine for this game.
No crashes, no stutter, which is a big deal if you remember NASCAR 25's rough start.
Appreciate that this years entry works on Steam Deck in SteamOS and is very playable.
