While not the most exciting game, Orwell managed to keep me engaged and questioning until it's (amazing) ending.
Believable writing and gameplay mesh to bring the Orwellian nightmare to life.
The interface is also intuitive and easy to navigate as a result of its slick design.
Sound design is similarly restrained, using subtle cues rather than dramatic music to maintain an atmosphere of quiet tension and bureaucratic detachment.
The art style with its stylized polygonal pictures suits its dystopian themes and the presentation is sufficiently appealing thanks to its good use of appropriate colour pallets and well-designed page layouts.
