What players think
The recurring themes across 71 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Where the game truly separates itself is in how it approaches gameplay.
Its strengths are a cool gritty/rusty sci-fi setting mixed with Christian "Heaven and Hell" mythos, and a huge arsenal of weapons and very original powers akin to Jedi Knight.
Generally, it plays a bit like Half-Life (big interconnected environments, sense of place, some scripting and dialogues with NPCs - and a basic 'moral' compass with warnings about killing innocents); add a pinch of old(er)-school FPS (scattered bonuses, fast pacing, almost in-your-face difficulty).
