Morphblade

morphblade is a turn-based strategy game developed and published by suspicious developments. morphblade stands out for it's minimalist design that still holds innovative gameplay mechanics. the grid-based game board is easy to navigate and clean vibrant colors distinguishing between different elements/symbols. the accompanying sounds effects/music enhance the overall experience, providing a fitting backdrop to the strategic gameplay.

controls are mouse-only: left click to move, click on yourself to wait, tooltips for available tiles on mouseover, or right click on already active hexes and enemies for more info. these are all explained in-game in an amusing fashion, as expected from the developer of the excellent gunpoint. as for hotkeys, esc opens/closes the menu, 'l' toggles the event log, arrows scroll it (and do nothing else). the log covers everything on the left, looks ugly, but also shows tile names and their levels, which should've been a separate toggle, I think.
