What players think
The recurring themes across 142 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Screen shake helps differentiate the power between weapons and in all combat is enjoyable.
To sum up, it ticks all the boxes in the gameplay department (maybe not the "extremely complex shooting" one).
Graphically the game looks sleek and modern whilst retaining the nostalgic visuals mostly Wolfenstein 3D.
Guns sound punchy and bold, enemy voice lines mimic the identifiable grunts of the past and the soundtrack apes the chiptune metal of doom accurately, even if it does start to get repetitive.
Game plays smooth, audio & visuals are perfect for retro inspired FPS, it's simple but enjoyable.
