The different game modes, while not terribly good in soloplay due to dumb AI, can allow for a variety of gameplay when in multiplayer : whether you like stunting, racing, smashing everyone or playing party modes, Crashday can offer you something.
Had this back in the day and I bought this day one when it came out on Steam, graphics still look great, damage was awesome for its age, a very healthy mix of racing, stunts, destruction and minigames that are actually intense and interesting, and a level editor and Steam Workshop for unlimited fun!
In spite of the not-so-great AI though, you're likely to get a great deal of fun playing solo or multiplayer.
They decided to bring back the original soundtrack, which makes a lot of sense, to keep the original game intact.
Their techinque of combining car combat, and stunting really pushed the game into a whole different style of car combat games than any other similar car combat games I played.
It's fun with friends and can provide a few hours of entertainment for the price.
