What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
The hand-drawn art style, filled with soft colors and playful animations, evokes the charm of a storybook brought to life.
It has multiple phases with varied difficulty as you progress through time and the thematics are fun.
(The DLC gives you access to the other story modes) The little character scenes were amusing a told little vignettes abut what was going on, which I think is fun.
It adds a lot of gameplay and especially when the Hidden Through Time Deluxe Edition is on sale, it’s also very worth the price.
The sound design complements the visuals perfectly, using light ambient melodies and environmental noises to enhance the mood without overwhelming the player.
Oh, and if you like creating, you can also venture into level creation, which is also fun and you can play sceneries created by other players as well online.
