Dex is very important in DR because it gives you more action points to use each turn in combat and it helps with the dodge skill.
Also a huge change is the addition of party members, who you control directly (ergo, no worries about Vic shooting Sulik in the back with a shotgun or Virgil investing all his skill points in fagoting).
I love the combat system, the underlying mechanics (materials, crafting, etc.), and the flexibility in character customization.
It is a huge step up from Age of Decadence, which soundtrack was already mostly good, and it is a very pleasant surprise to see such an improvement in what could be compared to an expansion pack.
