The variety of different tasks you end up undertaking is actually really impressive for a game from 2003, I barely remembered any of the game during this revisit apart from the amazing soundtrack so it was a joy running into the various new mechanics that get introduced such as on rails shooting, racing, flying planes and a few other things I won't spoil
I went in for nostalgia purposes, and came out just absolutely loving this soundtrack.
-The graphics are insanely great and absolutely eye candy for those who enjoy early 2000’s platforms in its fullest glory.
The story is easy-to-follow without being too boring, although the sarcastic humour becomes less amusing as the story progresses.
I have only very limited playtime with a keyboard+mouse use, but I would strongly recommend using a controller to play this, although it supports seamless transition between input methods, with UI and buttom prompts changing on-the-fly.
After a couple of patches by the developers, the game runs perfectly fine at 100 fps (the engine cap I think, maybe it's around 100 or 110).
