What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
You do not need to have played the previous games to enjoy this one since it works as a standalone story, though it is technically a continuation of the previous game's narrative with returning characters and references to past events.
Weapons like the airstrike call-in that rains missiles on everything are just pure fun, further distancing itself gameplay wise from the street level, more gritty approach of SR2.
There's a co-op mode so you can play with a friend.
Voice acting is great and has some popular actors including Laura Bailey and Burt Reynolds(lol).
➕Graphics aged well
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
