TLDR: Great fast-paced akimbo shooter with full range of motion; retro-gameplay meets modernity with perfectly optimized VR
Thankfully, there are many juicy weapons to defend yourself, so, in the end, all the arguable things aside, Serious Sam is a very, very fun experience.
Re: difficulty & comfort---I felt the curve was just what I needed (starts slow, ends crazy), but I can't speak for everyone (considering how much wider the gap is for VR newcomers);
The lighting, particle effects, and explosions all pop in VR, making every encounter feel larger than life.
Fortunately, the game includes co-op multiplayer, which transforms the experience into an absolute riot.
crisp visuals, performance is a solid 90 fps even on my mid range pc, and the guns are really fun to use in vr. probably the best $2 ive spent on steam
