What players think
The recurring themes across 31 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
This decision may reduce the game’s appeal for those who prefer connecting with friends remotely but keeps the experience intimate and social for couch co-op fans.
Released in 2017, the game offers a nostalgic trip back to the era of side-scrolling action, combining cooperative gameplay, charming visuals, and engaging level design.
First of all, I got really rough first impressions of this game because it started really generic and it wasn't easy on top of that, but then I kept at it, I got used to the controls and the levels started to get more complex making the gameplay feel deeper... and I started liking it a lot.
Instead, it delivers a focused, colorful and entertaining experience built around platforming, combat and chaotic multiplayer.
