What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
This is tied to an easy and comprehensive research tree that acts as the core progression of the game in-between your journeys into the Open World.
In the end, it's a good game with lot lot of potential and is great for people who like building (I think I have spent ~100 hours building in the game before the steam release), strategy, and shooting (boarding an enemy ship feels almost like an FPS), but the game still has many glitches in multiplayer that can be limiting.
I wish it had more missions, more need for co-op (you can generally operate ships of any size fine as a single person), more reasons to co-operate with other players.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
