What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
There are also plenty of cool trippy visuals, especially in the last section of the base game.
I very rarely feel this way but this is one of the all time best fps games ever produced.
Audio is pretty nostalgic as well not really high quality but it tries to match the retro timeline and the soundtrack is just great, really enjoyed it. ( it is available as a DLC ).
There isn't much of a story or even an atmospheric type of storytelling like Dusk has and the game pretty much explains everything in its main menu codex which I thought was kinda stupid.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 3 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
