I definitely also recommend getting most of the characters because they're all so cool!
You don't want sucky visuals either because some of them are super awesome.
the gameplay is addictively entertaining. the story mode of this game is lowkey garbage, I wouldn't suggest it. the online is a waste unless you already have friends with this game already. combat is easy to learn and takes A LOT to master (it gets ridiculous once you and/or your opponent is fighting at high skill levels... beginners will also have a lot of fun too in their own easy to play way).
DBFZ uses Easy Anti Cheat, which does support Steam Deck, but the developers chose not to click the box to enable Linux support, so the game will only work on Steam Deck and Linux if you disable EAC, preventing most online play.
