Rather than relying on a single gameplay mode, Skelly Selest offers several distinct ways to play.
Combined with its retro-inspired presentation, the visuals give the game a strong and recognizable personality.
Set in a dark fantasy world where skeletal warriors descend into the depths of Hell to prevent demonic corruption from spreading beyond its borders, the game focuses less on storytelling and more on delivering a highly replayable combat-driven adventure.
Energetic retro-inspired music drives the pace of each encounter, while satisfying sound effects reinforce every attack, defeat, and reward.
Edit: Many updates later, this game has only gotten much MUCH better, with more playable characters, more rooms, items, traps, attacks, enemies and enemy types it's just been filled with more interest, leaderboards for each individual character, I'm extremely pleased with how it's coming along, the few glitches that appeared after one of the new updates were fixed within the day of release.
So far I am playing with the controller, which works well without problems.
