What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
As far as Foddian-style games go, I believe Pogostuck is the strongest addition to the genre from a fundamental gameplay perspective.
Customization is another fun layer, offering unlockable cosmetics that include everything from silly hats and trail effects to entirely new characters.
I also quite like the multiplayer mechanic, as it incentivizes there to be an active community of players and enables friends to hang out with one another.
Even on reduced graphics settings, in my experience, as well as based on what I've heard from friends and fellow Pogostuck players, there are frequent dips in frame-rate and lag spikes that can occur at the most inopportune of times.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
