It has many glaring flaws, but underneath is a solid game with an epic story that has only aged with time into a cult classic.
- While some of the aspects of the game is pretty dated or do not make sense (especially some outdoor sections) the game still hold up incredibly well with its charm, music and gameplay
The biggest thing holding it back is definitely the art style with npcs, the world and environments are actually pretty neat and impressive when you consider the time of release, not so much the visual flair but just how visual interaction there is, like reflections, screens with video feedback, images, all trying to simulate like its happening in real time, the game does a nice job of trying to be immersive and make the world feel real.
-Top notch voice acting with recognizable cast
Really solid immersive-sim/fps-rpg, genre that should deserve more recognition (and more games too). it aged a bit on some sides (like gunplay or animations) but it's an original game, with a lot of stuff to play with, between the items, character build and augmentations with a cool plot, that seems more relevant today, to follow on.
+ Good amount of settings, complimented by various HUD color schemes
