What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
This game is the perfect balance between a horror, puzzle-solving, funny moments, and the best part of all, a gut-wrenching, emotional story.
The puzzles aren't the hardest things to solve but exploring the cursed school while slowing putting together the puzzle pieces feels satisfying for me personally.
The graphics use cute and detailed pixel art as well as a variety of nicely drawn character portraits in different poses to display various emotions.
The sound design plays an equally important role in shaping the mood—ambient creaks, distorted whispers, and brief bursts of discordant music punctuate moments of dread.
(restarting is very quick so death feels like no time wasted) The game hardly ever drags unlike other puzzle RPG Maker games and finds a good balance between hard and easy with puzzle difficulty.
For a game, where discrimination is prevalent, it's ironic that the roster is rather inclusive.
