Oh, the ending is nice too with a nice twist.
This design reinforces a strong sense of progression, as areas that once seemed inaccessible become reachable through newly acquired powers.
The graphics are beyond smooth, there is paralax scrolling we'd never have seen on say the Master System games that obviously inspired it (as well as PC Engine even) the animation is nice, the music is great.
Complementing the visuals is a retro-inspired soundtrack that captures the melodic energy of classic console soundtracks while maintaining modern audio clarity.
Playing on the Steam Deck
Its much easier to play game on any controller, then on strange keyboard controls (no remapping)
