Personally, I really love this mechanic as it encourages you to get creative with the characters’ move sets and find the hidden items.
This single button enhances nearly every aspect of combat—it allows for momentum adjustments, improved shielding, moonwalking, wall jumping, and subtle move variations.
The background stages to me also look awesome to play in, especially the Story Mode levels.
We will talk about the story mode later, but I also want to give props to the character portraits for the character select and text box conversations.
Final notes, I think the game is recommendable to people who are fans of Ludosity's other games, or a looking for a fun smash alternative to show to friends.
Multiplayer is where Slap City truly shines, and it is designed with both local and online play in mind.
