What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Overcooked 2 is a highly enjoyable co-op game to play with mates.
Although the game’s story is very basic, it’s still a comfortable addition to this spectacular game.
Anyway, it is a good game after all, it corrects a lot of little glitchy things from the first title, like inputs from the pause menu being taken to the gameplay and sometimes ruining everything when you unpause, making you have to restart it.
Amazing with friends (but not online), and unplayable alone
Story: Its still a very linear oriented one like from the first game, adding a few feautures and enhancing the graphics.
The soundtrack is also another aspect which I really admire, being very enjoyable while also just simply being very good music.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No recurring complaints surfaced in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway. 2 more themes were each raised by fewer than 6 sampled reviews and are not shown.
