The graphics and music both come together to provide a strong basis for telling the game's story.
Basically, there's plenty of helpful features that improve the game's quality of life.
The whole ordeal is quite good to look at, the spritework is charming and colorful, the musicc is catchy, the combat - while not "new" - is executed quite well: Status-Effect-Use is rewarding, partymember-switching is nice.
Visuals-Charming sprites, RPGM cutscenes, nothing to write home about but well done.
Music: As someone who most definitely isn't into the Chiptune style, the soundtrack completely took me by surprise.
The combat is more interesting and fleshed out, with a larger party roster and more abilities to play with.
