What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
I won't say anything more as I don't want to spoil the story, but there's a lot going on in the narrative and I enjoyed the main campaign for this game.
Unreal Engine 5 upgrade, ray tracing, 4K textures, new lighting across the map, improved performance, faster loading, enhanced locations, upscaling, improved combat, stability fixes; they did a lot to improve on the original.
The storytelling, atmosphere, music, sound design, voice acting, environmental storytelling and Lovecraftian horror vibes (the real reason anybody came to play) are all 10\10 in my book!
