Featuring easy but enjoyable combat, spectacular boss fights, and three different blades with special powers.
💾Graphics - The graphics were expected of an old PS2 game, and it looks more sharper and stable with its gameplay.
I think the story was pretty decent and playing as a demon slaying Samurai is pretty cool.
This game feels a little like a remastered version with all the improvements for modern gaming and its new feudal Japanese soundtrack, making it feel all refreshing and engaging.
Unlike my expectations of a harder difficulty mode (though Hell is present, a 1-hit die mode for those who want it.. Yikes), Ultimate does something frankly more games should.
I tend to dislike old-school titles because of their outdated graphics and mechanics, but I was drawn into Onimusha because of its art and setting.
