What players think
The recurring themes across 300 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
-There is a very large tech tree with plenty of different weapons, turrets, mods and abilities that are pretty balanced so you can always change up your loadout.
You end up rift jumping to different parts of the planet, exploring, gathering new resources, fending off waves of enemies, and unlocking some pretty cool turrets and weapons.
It borrows Factorio’s isometric perspective and its core gameplay pillars resource extraction, production lines, and base expansion but attempts to distinguish itself with a highly produced story campaign and a heavier focus on direct combat.
I played a less stressful mode in multiplayer called coop campaign, which I recommend.
-the graphics are good, sound effects of turrets and weapons are cool. enemies get a bit repetitive by the end of the campaign but the DLC is very refreshing.
I was so sketched out about melee in a genre like this, but it is very well executed and even responsive enough to not die constantly on multiplayer.
