What players think
The recurring themes across 49 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
Looking back, there are a multitude of unspoken details and clues that telegraph an ending that I would have never suspected.
Visuals are good.
The seemingly painted artwork is gorgeous, the soundtrack eerie and the resulting atmosphere as palpably creepy as it befits the game's setting, subject matter and time period.
There are two points you can save at to make sure you don't have to dredge through the entire game again just to get the alternate endings (just picking ONE different choice), which makes replayability obselete.
Theme by theme
Every theme is scored by what reviewers actually said about it, not just whether they recommended the game.
No themes split opinion in this sample.
Ranked by how many sampled reviews mention each topic. A topic sits in a column by what reviewers said about that topic; the percentage beside it is how many of them recommended the game anyway.
