What players think
The recurring themes across 266 analysed reviews: what players praise, what divides them, and what to know.
At times the game feels like it wants you to grind, but I was never forced to while playing on normal difficulty.
Well I guess there's plenty of "plot" and actually a pretty decent story throughout the game - feels a lot like the standard manga/anime sci-fi fare from the 90s.
There are dozens of weapons to choose from in each class that all feel very different and distinct from one another.
Difficulty - If you're into challenging games, Dead or School does provide a good level of challenge, even on Normal.
The game's best selling point is, then, the art, which is funny, when the game uses a strange (and poor) mixture of anime-esque style graphics and 3D backgrounds/enemies.
Soundtrack - The soundtrack in this game is unironically one of the best soundtracks I have heard in a game.
